The Ferry-Morse Pro-Hex Seed Starting Tray features revolutionary hexagon cells that encourage a better, stronger root system. Newly formed seedling roots search for water. When a root reaches the wall of a hex cell, it grows straight down to the bottom. Root after root finds the walls and grows straight down instead of circling, which can limit plant growth. This helps minimize transplant shock and eliminates circular roots that can stunt seedling development. Use what professionals use to start seeds: our Jiffy Seed Starting Mix. Start from seed and save. *Seed is not included.
